For me, good health is about consistency over perfection. I focus on moving my body in ways I actually enjoy, whether that’s walking, staying active at work, or stretching when I feel tight. I try to eat balanced meals without cutting out foods I love, drink plenty of water, and prioritise sleep as much as I can. Mental health is just as important too, so I make time to unwind, limit stress where possible, and check in with myself regularly. Small daily habits really do add up, and that’s what keeps things sustainable for me.

I don't have any daily habits or routines anymore. For 40 years I went to gym, religiously...but not anymore... I just lost the drive. These days, I swim, and I get a lot of incidental exercise from maintaining my garden and attending to maintenance around the house.
If I had a tip for anyone, choose something that you love to do ... and just as importantly, do it with someone. Your passion for whatever you choose, will make it a source of pleasure, not a chore; and your engagement with someone while doing the activity, will be great for your mind.
Added bonus, your brain will reward you with endorphins and dopamine. Have fun.

Maintaining health does not have to be an impossible marathon, it is the small adjustments that add up over the months. The secret for me has been Consistency more than perfection if I fail one day, I come back fast the next. Fun I choose activities that I like dancing on the weekend, hiking on the holidays Self-knowledge, I listen to my body and adjust the routines as he asks

I think sometimes we overcomplicate it!
Staying healthy is about having habits that support good overall health, rather than being a certain weight or following a specific diet.
Eat regularly, focusing on whole foods made at home. Have a range of different ingredients focusing on fresh fruit and veg, protein sources and fibre. This will ensure you're supporting your body and getting enough macro and micro nutrients to maintain health.
Move regularly. If you like long walks, great! If you like hitting the weights at the gym, great! If you find pilates makes you feel good, do that!
Ideally you do a bit of everything to get your body moving in a range of different ways, but the most important thing is just that you're moving.
Drink water and get more than 7 hours of sleep a night.
Finally, make sure you spend time with your community. Mental health and feeling connected is a huge part of feeling healthy.
Overall, what works for me (Gym and running, breathwork, meal prepping every meal and dance once a week) might be someone elses worst nightmare.
Each of us has to find health habits that work for us, rather than trying to follow someone elses process.
Good, variable food, regular movement, hydration and rest, and staying in connection with our community. If you've got those down, it doesn't matter how you get there!

Getting enough sleep is important to me. I keep active and fit. I garden a lot and because I am outside, I wear a hat and sunscreen as well as consume enough water. It is important to have a hobby and stay engaged.
