Should recreational cannabis be legalised across Australia like in parts of North America?

it seems if you live in Canberra and are a pollie you can buy freely, so it should be available to all.. BUT I dont and wouldnt smoke that or ciggarettes

No. I don't want people under the influence of cannabis operating a vehicle or any other form of machinery. I also don't want to see people have psychotic episodes and develop a mental illness from using it. I don't see a need for it. Let there be medicinal cannabis for those with medical conditions which is prescribed by a health professional and regulated.
